Fox Fur from Anchor Maia is a counted cross stitch kit based on an original artwork by Erte. The kit contains 16 count quality Aida fabric, carefully sorted Anchor cotton and metallic threads, a needle and an easy to follow chart and instructions. Born in St Petersburg in 1892, Romain de Tirtoff, known as Erte after the French pronunciation of his initials, was famouse for his magazine covers and fashion designs for Harpers Bazaar, as well as exotic costumes and stage sets for theatres such as the Folies Bergere. He continued working in his unique Art Deco style until his death in 1990.
