Waste Canvas is a disposable fabric which simply provides a sustantial evenweave grid upon which to cross stitch unevenly woven fabrics. When the canvas is removed your design will remain on any fabric you choose - the perfect solution for cross stitching designs on sweatshirts, T shirts, childrens' clothes etc. Use a piece of Waste Canvas that is slightly larger than the design you are stitching, and tack it to the fabric which you will be stitching the design onto. Cross stitch your design over both the Waste Canvas and the fabric. When it is complete, lightly dampen the canvas, and remove each thread one at a time with tweezers.
