Diana is a counted cross stitch chart from The Silver Lining for cross stitchers who prefer to use their own fabric and threads. A delicate cross stitch design by Marc I Saastad, with a stitch count of 340 x 187. A good choice of fabric would be either 32 count Antique White Belfast Linen or 16 count Aida fabric. Marc describes how this design came to be: "Princess Diana has always been someone I have greatly admired and respected and I wanted to dedicate a rose to this wonderful caring and giving person. My design pictures Diana as a rose with her shy downward look, in which I included touches of white metallic thread in the highlights to represent how Diana herself sparkled and brightened our days with her presence. The spent flower on the left with its touch of antique gold signifies the Crown Jewels she left behind. The buds represent her two beloved sons...who will forever know what a remarkable woman their mother was."
