Circe the Sorceress from Passione Ricamo is a counted cross stitch chart for stitchers who prefer to use their own fabric and thread. From the age of 6, Laura Lattuada's favourite pastime has been (and still is) drawing. Her skill as an artist led her to become a web and graphic designer. After meeting a cross stitcher, she fell in love with the artform. Inspired by some of the great romantic cross stitch designer of our time, she has established a design style very much of her own, which we are sure you will want to stitch.
Laura says of this design "Circe is the Sorceress par excellence, the priestess, the symbol of feminine and mystery at the same time, the sixth sense that every woman knows to own...Circe knew all the feminine arts, including the art of embroidery. Therefore I invite you to stitch this mysterious and seductive spirit..." The design has a stitch count of 190 x 238 and Laura suggests that you stitch it on a hand dyed fabric (Bewitched from Pol Stitches). Gelati from Sugar Maple Fabrics is a good match for this, and this is available in our fabric department. Do remember that you can stitch this lovely design on whatever fabric you feel comfortable with.
