Noah's Alphabet is a counted cross stitch chart from Dragon Dreams for cross stitchers who prefer to use their own fabric and threads. This colourful, multi purpose design can be stitched on an alphabet afghan, wall hangings or as initials to personalise small stitchable items. The designer of this chart dedicates it "to all those who help children (or adults) learn their A, B. Cs and unlock the magical world of words". She also says "For those of you who are wondering what on earth the animals used for the letter X are...Xiphias Gladius is the latin name for Swordfish... though it probably swam BESIDE the ark instead of boarding it! At the time I designed this I was unaware of the small African mammal Xeres (or something like that) that looks kind of like a gopher with chipmunk stripes!"
